Following a game where Loudoun got a sense of where they stood against a talented Phoenix side, over the next two weeks they play two talented teams from the Western Conference in New Mexico and El Paso, they try to slay the beast of burden that is Hartford Athletic, and they play in the Round of 32 in the U.S. Open Cup Wednesday against the Columbus Crew. But it starts tonight at Segra that should serve to test something the team has preached when it comes to play and focus.

The Opposition

Indy Eleven is a side Loudoun has played generally well, and includes veterans like forwards Sebastian Guenzatti and Solomon Asante, former Chicago Fire midfielder Cam Lindley, and former Loudoun player Robby Dambrot in defense. The team also includes Adrian Diz Pe, whose efforts on defense earned him a Team of the Week nod this past week. With so much firepower on the field, the team’s five total goals this season remains a mystery and should keep the defense on their toes for an inevitable return to norms.

Your Random Stat

-2.33 – The actual versus expected goal total of Indy, sixth worst in the league (a combination of underperforming offense and defense). Loudoun’s 2.72 (on point offense and overperforming defense) is sixth best in the league.
