DC Power FC is back at Audi Field for the first time in a month this afternoon as they host Dallas Trinity. DC is looking to regroup after losing at Carolina Ascent last weekend.

DC Power currently is holding onto the fourth and final playoff position in the USL Super League table, but the company they keep in that spot will be on the other side today. They are tied with Dallas on points with 11 each through 8 matches. The winner will pull level on points with reigning champions Lexington SC, who sit in third.

Goal production is the key, as DC Power need to score more to not only get wins but improve their goal differential. They have only scored 2+ goals in a match three times this season. They’re hoping that players can be healthy and can get back to the production they had early in the season when they put 4 in the back of the net against Brooklyn FC in August.

Dallas Trinity is coming off a 1-1 draw against Brooklyn back on October 10th. With a roster that includes Spirit loanee Heather Stainbrook and local product Jasmine Hamid, they have an ability to score goals quickly. DC will have to withstand the pressure and do what they can to win at home and create some separation above the playoff line.
