The 2026 sprint season is underway for the Gainbridge Super League, and eight teams, including DC Power FC, will vie to take the title in December. But a new season means new beginnings for each team. But it also means new kits!

Because of the move to a sprint season followed by a full 2027 season that will begin in the spring, aligning with the NWSL after doing the first two seasons aligning with Europe, some teams opted to carry over their jerseys from the previous season. Others used the opportunity to introduce new kits that they will wear through 2027. But, it’s always fun to compare each team’s options with the rest of the league, and that’s what we will do here.

There are 18 jerseys for this season across the 8 teams. Each team has a home and away jersey, while DC Power and Lexington SC have also introduced 3rd jerseys as well. The league also has a nice diversity of team colors, giving each team a chance to design something that will stand out. There are 5 apparel providers covering the 8 teams this season: Capelli Sport (DC Power, Tampa Bay Sun, Carolina Ascent), Nike (Fort Lauderdale United, Dallas Trinity), Hummel (Lexington SC), Adidas (Sporting Jacksonville), and New Balance (Brooklyn FC). There may be some teams that introduce more jersey options down the line, but we take the time to rank the league’s looks from 18 to 1.

18. Tampa Bay Sun Away

The color is cool, but a template is a template. And other than making it the golden yellow on navy, Tampa Bay didn’t do much to make their away kit stand out from a design standpoint.

17. Dallas Trinity FC Home

Maroon and gold is a great color combination. Dallas Trinity’s home jersey also has the minimalist crest. Unfortunately, that is the only design element on this plain jersey. A design of any kind would have vaulted this jersey up the rankings, but their decision to remain plain keeps them towards the bottom.

16. Fort Lauderdale United Away

Fort Lauderdale opted for a plain away jersey. It’s not a white tee, but the gray just feels like a template, even with the woven design.

15. Brooklyn FC Away

Brooklyn’s light beige forms the base of their away jersey with black vertical stripes with the varying lines forming a pinstripe style that looks somewhat like the arches on the Brooklyn Bridge. However, it leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering the unique color combination. This is a jersey canvas left unfinished.

14. DC Power FC Away

DC Power’s away jersey is a white jersey with a gradient into the light blue at the bottom. They opted for the white away jersey, but it doesn’t tie well into the other two jerseys they have that pop more. This could have been better to make it a great set, but it feels like a template with a little blue added at the end.

13. Dallas Trinity FC Away

Dallas Trinity has a white away jersey with gold pinstripes down the front and a maroon center crest. It looks alright, but there’s a lot of canvas left untouched that could have made this jersey truly stellar.

12. Sporting Jacksonville Home

It’s a standard template jersey for Sporting Jax’s home jersey, but the colors are nice. The light blue doesn’t quite match up with Jax’s crest, but it’s cool to separate the white shoulders from the blue body of the jersey.

11. Brooklyn FC Home

Brooklyn’s home jersey deploys the team’s colors, which are black and a light beige. The design feels simple, with the varying lines forming a pinstripe style in the same way as the away. It feels like they could have done more with the Brooklyn Bridge or brownstone motif that forms the inspiration for their crest, and the design seems like it could have been worked up a bit more to bring it all together.

10. Lexington SC Away

Lexington’s away jersey is pretty nice, a true clash option. Purple, lavender, and a couple shades of pink make the jersey into a camo-like design. It’s not as good as their other jerseys, but still lands in the top 10.

9. Sporting Jacksonville Away

Sporting Jax’s away jersey is white with a nice zany design that accentuates the team’s colors. The orange 3 stripes on the shoulders moving up to the light blue collar is a nice touch. But, it doesn’t feel like the colors quite match up with the crest’s aqua color.

8. Lexington SC Home

Lexington’s home jersey mimics that of their men’s team. A full emphasis on green with a several shades comprising a pattern. It’s weird that they didn’t just go full neon green for the trim and for the Hummel logo and jersey sponsor on the front, but that’s the only thing really holding this jersey back from being truly solid.

7. Fort Lauderdale United Home

Fort Lauderdale United has gone to a dark charcoal look for their home jersey, with a design interwoven in that looks cool. They have coupled it with black trim on the collars and sleeves and the design allows the crest to pop on the front. There’s something about the charcoal canvas bringing the light aqua, light blue and royal blue together. It looks a bit simpler than the others, but it’s a nice look for Fort Lauderdale.

6. DC Power FC Home

DC Power’s free flowing topographical design is a step up from their first full season home jersey, creating a really cool look on the black jersey. The blue trim on the collar and sleeves is a nice touch. The color combination is solid, and that’s the base for a nice look for the home team.

5. Lexington SC 3rd

The defending champs have a 3rd jersey that they’re calling the Champions kit, and it celebrates the horse racing history of the city and state. Having a white jersey with green diamonds that looks like a jockey’s outfit really stands out. The center crest is the only reason this isn’t higher, but with the design, it actually makes sense to have it in the middle.

4. Carolina Ascent Away

Carolina has done it again on their away, continuing a beautiful sunset motif with their away jersey. The various shades of purple creating a mountainous design is really good, and the orange bringing the sunset all together is really, really good. It’s a great away kit for them that brings so many colors together while still providing a kit clash just about anytime they need it.

3. Tampa Bay Sun Home

The Tampa Bay Sun home jersey this year looks pretty standard with the sublimated stripes on the front…until you look to the sides of the torso ad the sleeve where a really cool design is revealed. That takes this jersey to the next level, and the navy blue with yellow makes for a terrific combination.

2. DC Power FC 3rd

The blue jersey from DC Power is a similar design to that of the home jersey, but it pops in such a better way. The blue that DC Power has is beautiful, and this jersey really should be the home look for the team. It’s pretty unique to the league and it stands out in a great way.

1. Carolina Ascent Home

This is just a fantastic jersey. Carolina has had the best set of jerseys in the Super League since the league started, and this home kit is continuing that tradition. The lavender and purple streaks radiating from the crest on a navy blue background with hot pink trim just absolutely crushes the competition. Well done, Carolina.

There it is, the USL Super League jerseys, ranked from worst to first. DC Power has a couple of good-to-great jerseys and one that leaves some room for improvement. The debate can continue on which jerseys you would have higher or lower on your list.
