Not gonna lie, I think Peltola clears Servania in any category I can think of, and has been the most consistently composed distributor, savvy stopper, and high quality performer on the pitch all season, he’s a bar others jump over, baseline.
I don’t get the Servania comparison, and now that we have Dozzell, him starting is farcical to me.
Despite having scored a couple of times, Peltola is not a good shooter, usually either missing the mark by a lot from distance, or not hitting it cleanly when in the mix. Servania usually tests the keeper. He’s also not as painfully slow as Peltola and thus doesn’t leave the defense in a tough spot when he goes forward. I also think he’s more decisive in his passing. Peltola is just a lot less precise and usually slows the game.
Servania directing his long range offerings on target is a massive rarity.

Xavi’s a bit of a wildcard hire for the Netherlands. Not a *great* coaching career so far, but even with how Flick has gotten them to a whole new level, he won a La Liga title and did stabilize Barcelona after the loss of Messi and the Koeman era. That’s definitely a notable accomplishment. Whatever jokes are to be made about “Barca DNA” or the Dutch connection, it’s true and sincere that he does have a connection to some of the great Dutch coaches.
