Dallas Trinity, who currently hold the fourth and final playoff spot, have 34 points and have two matches remaining, with one coming tonight against the Tampa Bay Sun. Should they win that match or their match next weekend against Fort Lauderdale United, DC Power’s playoff hopes will end.

DC Power match with Spokane Zephyr is also important for Spokane, as they are tied with DC Power with 33 points. Like Dallas, they also have two matches remaining on their schedule, so they still have a chance to catch Dallas and take the final playoff spot. So, this match will have a ton of playoff implications. DC is the only team in this equation that does not control their own destiny, so their plan is to just go for it. A win tonight may not be enough, but a win is all they can do to put pressure on Dallas should they drop points this evening.
