Morning DC Footy Folks! Yesterday was a fantastic day in the District and today may be even better! I am hoping that the weather holds through this weekend as I will be participating in the District Soccer Cherry Blossom Soccer Tournament (there’s still time to register your team!).
Anyways, onto the footy news!
There was much playing time for Spirit/Power players over the international break, but most importantly no injuries as the Spirit home opener comes into focus.

Yes they are. We have to wait till Independence Day to see the USA Men’s Eagles in action this year with the first game of World Rugby’s new Nations League competition against Portugal. The Women on the other hand have the annual Pacific 4 Series with matches against New Zealand (Sacramento), Australia (Kansas City), and Canada (Chicago) next month.
The Women’s 7s took 3rd this past weekend at the Vancouver 7s. Then they have the NYC event for the HSBC 7s this weekend. The Men’s 7s have the remaining 2 HSBC SVNS 2 tournaments this month Uruguay 21-22 March and Brazil 28-29 March.

Unless I’m misunderstanding, this is incorrect. All 3 USMNT games are included, as well as potential matches in later matches. The application I filled out just now included them — well, I picked the game vs. Australia in Seattle. The LA matches are insanely expensive.
