Loudoun United launch 2026 home and away jerseys
Loudoun United announced the release of new home, away and alternate jerseys ahead of their 2026 season. For more about the white (aka “Community”) version:
“The Loudoun United away kit comes directly from the symbols that define Loudoun County’s foundation.
Running down the center of the kit are red stripes that are patterned with the wheat and milk elements taken from the county’s flag. Representing the agricultural roots that shaped Loudoun long before its rapid growth, while also honoring the land, labor, and community that initially built the region.
The central stripe placement is a reminder that no matter where Loudoun United travels, the club carries its home and history straight through the heart of the kit.”
The black (“Momentum”) jersey includes effects at the bottom, and from the team:
“The white and red lines cutting across the kit represent constant movement in the flow of people and ambition in one of the fastest growing regions in the country. From early mornings on Route 7 to late nights under the lights at Segra Field, Loudoun never slows down.
The lines are angled and layered on the kit, creating a sense of speed and momentum. They reflect the energy of a community always pushing ahead and a county built on progress.”
Loudoun does have plans for a third jersey, which I understand is a departure from the home and away color schemes and includes a collar. No word on when it will be released as of this writing.
The jersey releases culminate a busy 48 hours for Loudoun; along with the announcement that they have signed MLS Next Pro Playmaker of the Year (and single-season assist record holder) Marcos Dias to a contact, their season, originally due to start March 7 at Rhode Island, was postponed Friday due to the impacts of the winter storm in the area, moving it to October, and making Loudoun’s first game of 2026 their home opener on March 14, hosting defending USL Champion Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
Whether the March 14 game occurs remains questionable; the Players’ Association announced Friday that they have authorized a strike if they cannot come to an agreement on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The sides have had discussions since August 2024, and the most recent CBA expired at the end of 2025. The PA’s requests include better salary structure, health insurance and more consistent, livable working standards, among others.
In the meantime, here are some more photos of the jerseys, including the goalkeeper ones:

I would’ve liked to see them keep one of the kits from last year. I liked the use of the pegasus on those!
