I hear you. Honestly, in this case, it is also very respectful of the players. They have other obligations, and they need to avoid unnecessary overuse injuries.

VAR penalty for a late exposed clears into the back of Tillman’s leg. That has to be at least a yellow if not a red.

Tillman puts it off the post.

Regardless, Tillman has played himself into consideration for a spot on the World Cup team.

Luna levels it off and Artesfan cross. Artesfan is the one who gave up the penalty earlier.

I watched it delayed with my dad. Freese can now say he defeated a Real Madrid, Champions League legend in a PK shootout.

What a weird game from Arsten.

Ah well, let’s keep going

Solid offensive contributions from Arfsten, but he got cooked defensively. He’s a wingback for Columbus iirc? It shows when he’s on the field with us. Definitely needs help on the left if he’s going to continue starting.

Based on this match, I’ve got to believe that Matt Freese is USMNT #1 keeper.

At a minimum, a late sub for PK events. I think he got a touch on 4 of them(?) maybe 5(?)
