In their final match before beginning the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, the United States Men’s National Team will play Switzerland in Nashville tonight.
The US are missing a number of their star players, including Tyler Adams, who is on the roster but was ruled out of tonight’s match, and lost their most recent friendly against Turkiye 2-1 on Saturday. They’ll be looking to apply some lessons from that game and create more cohesion among the group headed to their biggest tournament of the year.
Switzerland, meanwhile, are coming off a 4-2 win against Mexico and, like the US, are likely using this match to tune-up before a bigger tournament. Their next stretch of games is World Cup qualifiers in September. Read more about Switzerland’s team in Stars and Stripes FC’s scouting report.
