Tonight, DC Power FC hits the road to New York City to take on Brooklyn FC. With nine days off since their loss to Tampa Bay Sun at Audi Field on October 2nd, Power FC look to finally put it all together and get in the win column for the first time in franchise history.

Despite the slow start to the season, DC Power is not that far removed from the playoff line in the USL Super League table. In an interview prior to the match, head coach Fred Brillant mentioned the goal for the team to not make mistakes and to be confident while possessing the desire to finish plays and win the game. Injuries have plagued the team in their inaugural season, but Brillant hopes getting captain Claire Constant back last week will help the back line stabilize and allow players to move forward in the attack.

They go up against a Brooklyn FC team that is 3rd in the table, led by Jessica Garziano, who was USL Super League Player of the Month for September. Brooklyn suffered their first loss last weekend, and DC Power FC hope to add to that with a solid performance this evening.
