GSFC led the league this round, putting up 114 points and taking a small chunk out of BL4CKnRED‘s overall lead, which is now 64 points.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers
Brad Guzan (ATL, $6.9) led the goalkeepers with a clean sheet and 15 points. Off the pace were Jonathan Sirois (MTL, $8.1), with a clean sheet and 9 points, and David Bingham (POR, $6.9), with 8 points on the same. D.C.’s Tyler Miller ($7.9) did play but scored 0 points.

Defenders
Atlanta’s Andrew Gutman ($8.8) tallied a clean sheet, a goal, and an assist on the way to 40 points, leading the defenders and all players. Just behind him was his teammate, Miles Robinson ($7.2), with a clean sheet, assist, and 19 points ahead of Franco Escobar (HOU, $7.0), with a clean sheet, a goal, and 15 points. The scoring DCU defenders were Donovan Pines ($10.1) with 3 points, and the pair of Pedro Santos ($7.1) and Jacob Greene ($4.0) with 1 point.

Midfielders
Carles Gil (NE, $12.0) put up a goal and two assists, leading the midfielders with 15 points, while Facundo Torres (ORL, $9.4) scored 13 points on a goal and an assist. Matt Polster (NE, $8.8) rounded out the top three with a goal and 11 points. The United defense was led by Chris Durkin ($6.1) with 9 points, followed by Lewis O’Brien ($7.0) with 4, Victor Palsson ($7.2) with 3, and Mateusz Klich ($9.4) with 2.

Forwards
Alan Pulido (SKC, $7.4) scored 17 points on the strength of two goals and an assist, leading the forwards. He beat out Raul Ruidiaz (SEA, $7.7) , with two goals and 14 points, and Mason Toye (MTL, $5.9), with two goals and 11 points. Taxi Fountas ($7.4) led the D.C. forwards with 8 points, followed by Christian Benteke ($9.5) with 2, and the pair of Kristian Fletcher ($4.3) and Cristian Dajome ($4.0) with 1.

Looking Ahead
LAFC plays twice, and with a large number of teams on bye, it’s easier to list the teams who are playing: NYC, Columbus, DCU, RSL, New England, Orlando, Kansas City, Nashville, St. Louis, San Jose and Portland. John McCarthy (LA, $7.8) looks good in goal vs. Houston and @ Kansas City, and I like DeJuan Jones (NE, $9.7) in defense vs. Orlando. Cristian Espinoza (SJ, $11.9) looks strong in midfield vs. Portland, and Cucho Hernandez (CLB, $11.3) is a good forward option @ NYC.
