This round’s leader was Euskadi, who properly loaded up with two game players on the way to 190 points. At the top of the table, BL4CKnRED has stretched their lead to 21 points.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers
D.C.’s own Tyler Miller ($8.1) led the goalkeepers with 20 points, including two clean sheets. Two more players, Andre Blake (PHI, $7.1) and Dayne St. Clair (MIN, $7.3), joined Miller with two clean sheets and tied for second on 18 points.

Defenders
Malte Amundsen (CLB, $5.2) led the defenders with 21 points on the strength of two goals and a clean sheet. Right behind him with 20 points was the duo of Miguel Tapias (MIN, $8.0) and Jake Glesenes (PHI, $8.0), each with two clean sheets. The DCU defense was led by Gaoussou Samake ($4.5) with 18 points, followed by the pair of Donovan Pines ($9.1) and Derrick Williams ($5.4) with 17 points, Jacob Greene ($4.8) with 2, and the returning Brendan Hines-Ike ($4.7) with 1 point.

Midfielders
Luciano Acosta (CIN, $10.4) scored three goals on the way to 23 points, leading the midfielders and all players, followed by Hany Mukhtar (NSH, $13.3), who scored 20 points on two goals and an assist. Rounding out the top three was Thiago Almada (ATL, $14.3), who paired a goal with an assist for 19 points. For United, Mateusz Klich ($8.9) led with 13 points; followed by Russell Canouse ($6.7) with 10; the trio of Victor Palsson ($6.9), Chris Durkin ($5.0), and Lewis O’Brien ($7.0) with 8, Ted Ku-Dipietro ($4.7) with 6, and Yamil Asad ($4.3) with 2.

Forwards
Atlanta’s Giorgos Giakoumakis ($8.8) led the forwards with 19 points on three goals in two substitute appearances, just ahead of Ercan Kara (ORL, $8.7), who contributed two goals and an assist for 18 points. Just behind them in third was Jesus Ferreira (DAL, $9.7), with 17 points on two goals. The DCU forwards featured Christian Benteke ($9.1) with 15 points, Cristian Dajome ($4.2) with 6 points, and Kristian Fletcher ($4.6) with 1.

Looking Ahead
LAFC is on bye this week, and everyone else plays once. I like Dayne St. Clair in goal vs. RSL, and Brandon Bye (NE, $8.5) in defense vs. Chicago. Luciano Acosta looks great in midfield @ Colorado, as does Jordan Morris (SEA, $8.5) at forward vs. the Red Bulls.
