DC United reveals 2026 Home Kit
The new kit is here! Today, D.C. United revealed their 2026 Home Kit, which will be in rotation for the next two seasons.
The jersey continues the tradition of the Black-and-Red, with a black jersey with red trim throughout. The Adidas three stripes down the shoulders onto the sleeves is red and are wider than years past. The DC United crest is on the left chest with the four MLS Cup stars featured prominently above it. As it has been in recent years, the authentic version that is on sale for fans will contain the stars, while the replica version is not expected to have the stars.
The Guidehouse sponsor along with the Fruitist and Apple TV sleeve sponsors are in white, along with the Adidas logo on the right chest. The sleeve cuffs are a red and black design with “D.C. United” written across them with three stars, representing the District of Columbia, flanking the text on either side. It’s also on the collar, where the D.C. United text is across the front of the collar with the three stars flanking either side.
The collar creeps around to the back and forms a pseudo point on the back neck, where the DC United eagle sits in that point in red. The name and numbers will be in white.
The shorts are black shorts with a red trim that goes down the side and across the bottom hem and have the DC United crest with the four stars on the right leg. The look is completed with black socks with the red DC United eagle and a white Adidas logo.
DC United will debut the jerseys during their home opener next Saturday night when they take on the Philadelphia Union at Audi Field. You can order the jerseys here through the MLS Store or at the DC United Club Shop.

It’s simple, but DC’s home jerseys have largely been simple through the years. I think if its paired with red shorts, it would go a long way. Some other teams have more exciting jerseys (NE, SJ, SD), but there are A LOT this year that are just solid colors (or mostly solid). Miami is a black shirt with black stripes. But, Seattle, Colorado, Nashville, Vancouver, Charlotte, and Columbus are all essentially solid colors. A few others (Orlando, LAFC, Portland, Philly) are just solid colors with something sublimated, which works ok on some and not on others.
Sour puss here actually likes it. The days of the early three stripe kits are really no more. This is clean and to the point.
Gosh, I may actually pick one up….the last one I splurged on was the cherry blossom away awesomeness.
