DC Power FC @ Sporting Jacksonville: Preview, time, and how to watch

DC Power FC is back. The spring season gets underway for them this afternoon when they take on Sporting Jacksonville on the road. It’s their first match since December 20th, and they have certainly been busy since then, with several roster moves made to set up the team for success. Sporting director Steven Birnbaum has indicated that the club wants to be better at finishing scoring opportunities and to be faster on the attack. The signings they made have that in mind and will hopefully provide the depth the team needs to go on a run.

They face Sporting Jacksonville, who are having a great first season in the Gainbridge Super League. They are in first place in the league table with 28 points and are coming off a 1-0 win over Carolina Ascent last weekend. DC Power are currently in 8th with 15 points, but have a couple games in hand on several teams ahead of them. They opened the fall portion of the season at Jacksonville, where DC Power won 3-1 after a lengthy storm delay. The hope is there are no more delays, and the team can hit the field to earn their first win of the spring.
