Hello, y’all! I’m happy to say, I’m now official, so I can publish these regularly without someone having to approve it before or during their work morning, so yay! Unfortunately, I myself have a zoom meeting starting at 8PM that keeps me from seeing the stuff live. Sigh.

Alright, on to the many games this evening. The USWNT plays archnemesis and regional rivals, Canada, in a friendly that will probably lose some players some teeth. This at 7:30 PM at our very own Buzzard Point! (Audi Field, generically). Game is playing on TNT, TrueTV, Universo, streaming on Max and Peacock.

In pretty much the same damn time slot, the USMNT is gonna play Guatemala, who dramatically knocked out Canada in almost an identical PK shootout scenario. Get your recording setups whirring! This on FS1 at 7 PM.

I have the Women’s Euro opener on while I do other stuff. From what I’ve seen, Iceland vs Finland is not a great way to get going. Both pretty stodgy but also blunt teams. Finland just scored off the first quality shot several minutes after Iceland got a red card.
