The USMNT see themselves to the semifinals of the Gold Cup after eliminating Costa Rica in a nerve-racking round of penalties. They will be facing an amped-up Guatemala, who also went to PKs in their matchup against Canada.
These two teams last faced off in 2016 during World Cup qualification, where Guatemala beat the US 2-0, only to lose 4-0 to the US four days later. Times have indeed changed since that fateful era over 9 years ago.
The victor will head to the Gold Cup finals against the winner of Mexico-Honduras, happening at 10:00 PM ET today.
