MLS Fantasy Focus: We’re back, baby!

After a one year break, I’m happy to be back doing something that I love: writing about soccer. Much has changed with MLS and D.C. United since I’ve been gone: We have a new team in San Diego, the Metros failed again on the league’s biggest stage, and D.C. UNITED SIGNED A M@&%$! F&*#%$^ SOUTH KOREAN INTERNATIONAL. And now that I’m back, so too comes the return of the District Press Fantasy Leagues!

As usual, we’ve got the Classic League and the Head-to-Head League, and in my expert opinion, you should join both.

To be quite frank, it wasn’t until just a couple of weeks ago that I started to think about MLS and fantasy soccer again. Please forgive me if my recommendations over the first few weeks of the season are substandard, as I didn’t even look at fantasy numbers until 24 hours ago. In any case, the season begins this weekend. Let’s do this.

Blasian has followed soccer since the mid-90s, and D.C. United since 1996. Though he now lives in Seoul, South Korea, he follows MLS as closely as he can. He's a half-Korean and an adoptee, things about which he's happy to talk to you if you cross paths with him on Twitter or Instagram at @BlasianSays.
