Thanks, Annie. USMNT going with a veteran defense. Coach clearly wants to maintain unbeaten record vs. “ a learning experience.”

Thanks for the thread, Annie!

I wonder if Diego Luna will finally change my mind tonight. I’m not holding my breath, but others seem to see something I don’t.

This Vassilev guy is a complete dud. Not very athletic for a winger, painfully one footed to the point of absurdity.

The Brian White goal assisted by Diego Luna was nicely worked.

Ben Cremaschi, Luna, and Gutierrez are off, Mcglynn, Clark, and Mijlevic are in

Diego Luna’s nose is almost certainly broken, but he certainly endeared himself to the fans by getting that assist. My take: good pass, worthy stat, though the Costa Rican defense didn’t show much imagination

He accelerated nicely into space and dished a fine pass. All while bleeding into nose stuffings. Credit due.

As the scorer in question is not wearing a mysterious pair of glasses and lacks a big nose and mustache, I can only assume it is not Caitlin Clark in disguise.🥸 😉

Also a delicious and nifty assist, not entirely sure which player did it

Wow, Jones, surprising, I like him as a player, didn’t have that skill move from him on my bingo card. Good win

I think he is peaking, with room to run. He is worthy of a roster spot consideration based on height, speed and physicality. I hope to see more of him.
