DC Power FC @ Fort Lauderdale FC: Preview, time, and how to watch

DC Power FC return to action tonight as they travel to Fort Lauderdale to take on Fort Lauderdale FC. DC Power hope to return to the win column after two home losses in a row.

DC has a chance to move up in the standings with a win against Fort Lauderdale, who is one point and one spot ahead of them. To do that, DC will need to score some goals. They’re the only team who has not reached double digits in the goals scored column, despite the fact that they lead the lead in scoring chances created and number of shots. Head coach Fred Brillant said during Thursday’s press conference that he needs his team to continue to have confidence with the ball in the box to get shots on net and put pressure on the opposing goalkeeper.

They also hope to limit mistakes, which has directly led to a ton of the 15 goals they have conceded. Brillant wants his team to put everything into these final two matches to try and get two wins and move up the table, and it starts tonight on the road. Fort Lauderdale features Addie McCain, who leads the league’s Golden Boot race with 6 goals, and Jasmine Hamid – yep, Bill’s sister – who has come into her own and even scored against DC Power last time the two teams met on September 13th.

DC Power needs the win, and hopefully they can create some goals to leave Fort Lauderdale with 3 points.
