Man, Mitrovic actually knows how to get offensive players in space. The fanbase might not be happy, but I don’t know if US Soccer is actually doing better than this, especially if it’s either a bottom feeding European coach with a big name or an MLS coach.

I forget if it was Losada or Rooney that let Yow go, but mistake.

Probably Losada. He was sold a few days before Rooney was signed as a coach.

Parades!!!

2-0

Man, I didn’t think this team would have any juice, they’re playing better at their level than the full team

Yow is everywhere, offensively and, at the moment, defensively

The US WOMEN’S RUGBY 7S TAKE BRONZE! They beat Australia 14-12 with literally the last play of the game they score a try right under the posts and convert it from dead-on. First time the US has medaled in Women’s 7s.

And New Zealand beats Canada 19-12 for the Gold with Canada getting the Silver.

Correction its the first time the US has medaled in either Men’s or Women’s 7s at the Olympics.

Guinea much more lively this half. Let’s weather the storm, see if we can get another one

Guinea are definitely fighting back this half. What happened at half time that lit a fire under them?

Parades hits it hard cutting inside, deflection makes it impossible for the keeper. Yahoo!!!

3-0, this is impressive

I had to drop in during work. This does not spoil anything for me. Sounds like I am going to enjoy my recording tonight.
Rugby: USA and Canada acquitted themselves well. That is serious Southern hemisphere royalty to contend with.

Damn! Both Kevin ParEdes and Griffin Yow are playing up a storm for our Olympic team both offensively and defensively. But for an unfriendly post Yow would also have 2-3 goals by now.

I just finished my DVR of the game. Very impressive work. Paredes and Yow did DMV proud. I would hope DCU shares a similar sentiment.

Next up, Morocco!!!!
