Too soon to talk about the press reports that DC United are completing acquisition of Pirani?
Hoping it’s a U22 deal.
Supposedly it’s a $1.3 million fee. I can’t imagine that he’d be their third DP, so U-22 seems most likely. He had some evident potential, but he definitely needs to improve, particularly his shooting. Hard to believe he didn’t have any assists either. But he’s good at connecting and with proper development could be something special.
I’d love it if he’s not our only U-22 signing.
