The rich got richer this round, as BL4CKnRED put up an astounding 224 points, leading the round and extending their overall league lead to 73 points.

Positional Leaders

Goalkeepers
San Jose’s Daniel ($6.2) kept two clean sheets and saved a penalty on the way to 24 points, leading the goalkeepers. Well behind him were Andre Blake (PHI, $8.1), with two clean sheets and 16 points, and Carlos Coronel (NYR, $6.9), who scored 14 points on a saved penalty and a clean sheet. DCU’s Tyler Miller ($8.4) scored 7 points.

Defenders
Kai Wagner (PHI, $10.1) racked up 23 points on two clean sheets, leading the defenders ahead of Rodrigues (SJ, $8.8) with 22 points on two clean sheets and an assist. Julio Cascante (ATX, $7.3) came in third with 20 points on a goal and two assists. The D.C. defense was led by Donovan Pines ($9.8) with 19 points, followed by Andy Najar ($5.7) with 11, Pedro Santos ($7.4) with 10, both Steven Birnbaum ($7.0) and Derrick Williams ($5.9) with 5, and Jacob Greene ($4.4) with 1.

Midfielders
Lucas Zelarayan (CLB, $12.7) scored 29 points on a goal and four assists, leading the midfielders and all players. In his dust were Carles Gil (NE, $11.5) with 21 points on two goals, and Ryan Gauld (VAN, $9.2) with 19 points on two goals and an assist. United’s midfield featured Mateusz Klich ($9.7) with 13 points, the pair of Victor Palsson ($7.1) and Chris Durkin ($5.6) with 11, Ted Ku-Dipietro ($4.7) with 9, Lewis O’Brien ($7.1) with 4, and Yamil Asad ($4.0) with 1.

Forwards
Cucho Hernandez (CLB, $10.8) led the forwards with two goals, an assist, and 21 points, ahead of the 17-point pair of Julian Carranza (PHI, $11.0) with two goals, and Christian Ramirez (CLB, $6.4) with two goals and an assist. D.C.’s scoring forwards were Christian Benteke ($10.0) with 12 point, Taxi Fountas ($7.1) with 4, and Cristian Dajome ($4.0) with 1.

Looking Ahead
The Red Bulls are on bye while Atlanta and LAFC play twice, so of course get your Thiago Almadas and Denis Bouangas in. Otherwise I like Joe Willis (NSH, $8.4) in goal at Toronto, and Kai Wagner in defense at San Jose. In midfield it’s Luciano Acosta (CIN, $11.4) at Vancouver, and Daniel Salloi (SKC, $8.2) at forward vs. Austin.
